These rec.pets.herp pages are all on my personal web site--I took over the "FAQ maintainer" job in 2002.  The picture is of me and a Western Diamondback Rattlesnake captured in San Antonio in October 2003.  NOTE:  it's a posed picture; the snake is dead (recently hit by a car).  I do not advocate handling Crotalus atrox in this manner.  I also run Mountain Boomer Music, which has a good section on locale-specific Eastern Collared Lizards.
