About Me:

Caught my first garter snake when I was nine years old and have had herps ever since. Started breeding snakes of various local species when I was 13.  Currently a boa and mangrove snake breeder.  I'm an avid bass fisherman, averaging 50 days on the water a year.  I'm also a published author, having written articles for the now defunct Reptile and Amphibian magazine and  also several for MassWildlife, the magazine of the Massachusetts Division of Fisheries and Wildlife. I  enjoy hard alt/rock music, preferably live, field herping, hiking, fitness, good tequila and computer gaming.  I'm married to a Mississippi belle and we have two children.  I like vacationing in D.C. and Florida , the former for its dive bars and history, the latter for its fishing and herps (and its dive bars). 25 year member and former two-term President of the New England Herpetological  Society, Boston MA .
